News Story Assignment

The week you are due to tell your story, you will need to select a current news story.

Outline it prior to recording it to break it down to the best ASL format.
Investigate correct ways to sign vocabulary and concepts. Practice and then when you've got it all planned out, you can record yourself telling the story as a draft. Watch your draft recording and analyze it to ensure you have all the necessary elements (i.e., attention getting....etc). Practice your news story with the following goals in mind: >> Be concise >> Use effective ASL techniques and various features of ASL >> Within 3 minutes or less. |
